Bioline-Jato Wellness and Beauty is a line of skincare products that claims to harness “the power of nature at the service of beauty.” This Italian company claims to use “extremely pure active ingredients derived from the environment. The result, according to the company’s advertising materials, is “the safety of a natural seductiveness.”
It seems to us that although this European company markets itself on luxury and sophistication, the substance and quality of its ingredients may ultimately fall short. We also noticed that these products do not seem to be available for sale from the Website. This, in our opinion, presents a colossal inconvenience to individuals who are overseas who may wish to purchase these products. We feel that in these modern times, there is truly no excuse not to embrace the power and convenience of the Internet. We will assess this product line for its quality and practicality to those who do not live in Italy.

Products in Focus
For the purposes of this review, we will focus on only one product in this company’s anti-aging line, Retinol & Caviar. This product is said to “exercise a combined action on the natural rhythms of the skin, improving tone, elasticity and smoothness, and helping to prevent the imperfections caused by skin aging.” It appears that it actually contains Caviar Extract “obtained by a special cold extracting process which helps maintain intact its specific properties.”
While it seems that actual Caviar has become a new “upscale” trend in skincare, we truly have not encountered any scientific evidence that this ingredient may be effective. In our opinion, this simply represents indulgence and “pampering” on a grand scale, with possibly very little in terms of anti-aging results.
